Cluster Leaf Safaris was established in 2015 by Taedza Mtambanengwe, known to guests as “Mr. T.” What started as a passion for sharing the wonders of Southern Africa has grown into a premier safari operation specializing in personalized, conservation-focused adventures.

With over 11 years of experience and 500+ successful tours, we've had the privilege of introducing countless travelers to the magic of Africa. From the towering dunes of Namibia to the wildlife-rich plains of Botswana, from the thundering Victoria Falls to the pristine wilderness of Zambia – every journey is crafted with care and expertise.

Founder & Lead Guide

Born in Zambia, raised in Zimbabwe, and now calling Namibia home, Taedza Mtambanengwe brings a unique perspective to African safari guiding. A commercial pilot by training, he transitioned to safari operations in 2015, founding Cluster Leaf Safaris with a vision to provide personalized, authentic African experiences. With over a decade of experience navigating the diverse landscapes of Southern Africa, Mr. T has cultivated deep relationships with local communities, conservation organizations, and lodge operators. His philosophy of "Bush HDTV" – delivering real, immersive nature experiences with expert storytelling – has earned him a loyal following of repeat guests from around the world. Fluent in English, Shona, and conversational Afrikaans, Taedza ensures every guest feels like family while exploring the wild wonders of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
